About Pastor Brent
Brent McDaniel is the Care Pastor and oversees the CARES ministries, which include: Compassion (chaplains, pastor on call), Assistance (memorials and community groups), Recovery (Celebrate Recovery, and Formation Coaches), Enrichment (marriage counseling, pastoral counseling, and pre-marriage counseling), and Support (After-hours Care Line, care team, and prayer team). He also oversees our thriving Seniors (55+) ministry.
Brent has a passion for working with individuals and couples to find the right relationships with God and to help guide and direct the children of Christ back to righteousness. He believes that when God is placed in the right relationship with oneself, He is able to work and can then provide transformation in areas of weakness and sin.
Brent has a deep educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Northwest University, Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and Community Care from Liberty University, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling degree from Liberty University.
Brent is married to his wonderful wife, Kayla, a nurse and teacher. They have four boys, Aden (17), Jaxen (11), Jamisen (9), Jetsen (2) and has three dogs. As a family, they enjoy camping, boating, playing and watching sports, coaching, hanging out around the fire, and making s’mores in the evenings.
